Grocery List for Grilled Banana Boats

  • Bananas (estimate one per person)
  • Toppings (choose your favorites! Here are some popular suggestions):
    • Chocolate chips
    • Peanut butter chips
    • Butterscotch chips
    • Sweetened coconut
  • Aluminum foil

How to Make Grilled Banana Boats

Step 1: Choose Your Bananas

Select perfectly ripe bananas, as they tend to be sweeter and more flavorful.

Step 2: Prepare the Bananas

  • Slit the Banana: Carefully slice the banana lengthwise, ensuring you don't cut all the way through.

Step 3: Stuff the Bananas

  • Add Toppings: Fill the slit with any combination of toppings that you like. Be creative and have fun with it!

Step 4: Grill the Banana Boats

  • Line the Grill: Place a piece of aluminum foil on the grill grates.
  • Cook: Set the stuffed bananas on top and grill with the cover open. Cook until the bananas are soft and the toppings are melty—about 10 minutes.

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy!

  • Dig In: Use a spoon to scoop out the delicious mixture and enjoy your warm, gooey dessert!
