Sharon Glener's Journey
"I think it's a great program!" says Sharon Glener, a guest who splits her time between the Orange City RV Community in Florida during colder months and Sun Retreats Avalon in Cape May Court, New Jersey in the summer. Since 2014, Sharon and her husband, John, have both benefited from the Work Camper program. While at Sun Retreats Avalon, Sharon works in the office and camping store, and John manages the main gate. This opportunity has kept them busy and engaged since their retirement in 2011.
Marti Worley's Adventure
Marti Worley took advantage of the Work Camper program last summer at Sun Retreats Gun Lake in Hopkins, Michigan. A resident of Rainbow RV Community in Frostproof, Florida, Marti discovered a part-time job opportunity in her home state during peak season and decided to seize the chance. "The opportunity to go to other resorts and check out other parts of the country is a great benefit to anyone who loves to travel," Marti explains. "I love every minute of it!"
