Head Off-Road at Arches National Park

Explore Arches National Park: A Desert Wonderland

In the desert of the American West lies a magical place filled with stunning red rocks and clear blue skies. Arches National Park, home to over 2,000 natural stone arches, is a star attraction in Moab, Utah. As one of Utah's "Mighty 5" national parks, Arches offers breathtaking rock formations and unforgettable landscapes.

Hiking

Discover the Wonders of Arches National Park

Hiking Adventures

One of the best ways to explore Arches National Park is on foot. With a range of trails from easy to challenging, you can get up close to its iconic sights:

  • Balanced Rock: This easy 0.3-mile trail is wheelchair accessible and perfect for a quick visit.
  • Landscape Arch at Devils Garden: A moderate hike of 1.6 miles that typically takes about 50 minutes. Reservations required.
  • Park Avenue: A 2-mile round trip with moderate difficulty, offering spectacular canyon views.

Tip: Always stay on the trails and use your best judgment. If conditions are wet or snowy, consider rescheduling your hike. During summer, wear loose clothing and stay hydrated!

Remember to stay on the trails and use your best judgement when hiking. If it's wet or snowy, you may want to reschedule due to slippery rocks. And during the summer months, wear loose clothing and bring lots of water!

Scenic Drives

If hiking isn't your preference, enjoy the sights from your car. Over 18 miles of paved roads provide stunning panoramic views and access to iconic spots like The Windows Section and Delicate Arch. Unpaved roads are available for those with high-clearance, four-wheel drive vehicles, offering even more sightseeing opportunities.
