Method:

- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 ½ pounds ground beef or lamb
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup frozen corn

- 2/3 cup chicken broth
Method:
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare mashed potatoes if not already done.

Method:
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 12-inch pizza pan.
- Place pastry on the pan and brush with melted butter.
- Layer with mozzarella, gouda, and tomatoes. Sprinkle with salt, oregano, and basil. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 35 minutes until golden. Top with fresh basil before serving.
4. Midwestern Taco Pie
Ingredients:
- ½ pound ground beef
- 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 15 ounces refried beans
- 8 ounces salsa
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 2 cups crushed tortilla chips
- Lettuce, diced tomato, sliced black olives, sour cream, and jalapeños for topping
Method:
- Bake the pie crust per package directions.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Brown ground beef, drain fat, and mix with taco seasoning.
