Explore these beautiful hiking trails located throughout the area:

1. Niagara Gorge Trails

Take in picturesque views of the Niagara River as you hike through kilometers of trails at the Niagara Gorge. If you're planning a day of hiking here, be sure to pack water, snacks, and sunscreen for a worry-free experience. The Niagara Gorge is located in Niagara Falls, less than 20 minutes from Sun Retreats Sherkston Shores and Pleasant Beach Campground. With its varied trails, the Niagara Gorge is perfect for both casual and avid hikers.

2. Stevensville Conservation Area Trail

Experience a natural recreational trail right in the Town of Fort Erie. With a pavilion, picnic tables, and washrooms along the trail, it's an ideal spot to enjoy a family hike followed by a relaxing afternoon picnic.

3. Morgan's Point Conservation Area Trail

Located in Wainfleet, just off Lake Erie, Morgan's Point features many natural habitats and scenic areas. With rest areas for fishing and swimming along the way, this hiking trail makes for a memorable family adventure.

Niagara Biking Trails

Check out these fantastic bicycle trails to explore the scenic Niagara Region:

1. Friendship Trail

Cycle through 13 kilometers of paved trails that connect Fort Erie and Ridgeway. In addition to the main route, the Friendship Trail features connections to Port Colborne and the Niagara River Parkway Recreation Trail. As part of the Trans Canada Trail Link, this trail offers scenic routes for all travelers and is very accessible for campers.

2. Welland Canals Parkway Trail

Prepare for an exciting ride from Port Colborne to St. Catharines along the 45-kilometer Welland Canals Parkway Trail. The trail begins less than 10 minutes from RV resorts in Sherkston, providing a fantastic route through charming towns. Summer is a great time to see the ships navigating the Welland Canal and explore the many locks along the route.

3. Niagara River Recreation Trail

Take your bike from Fort Erie and enjoy a scenic ride up to Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Niagara River Recreation Trail is 56 kilometers long and features numerous stops to explore, including the iconic Niagara Falls—a major tourist attraction in the region.
