Stargazing
As one of the first darker sky areas outside of Los Angeles, Sun Outdoors Santa Barbara offers an ideal backdrop for stargazing with very little light pollution interrupting your experience with the constellations above.
Pro tip: Pack a blanket, bug spray, and red light flashlight or headlamp with red light to preserve your night vision.

Each RV and tent site comes equipped with its own fire ring. Plus, firewood is available for purchase ($) at the Camp Store, to add to the ease of the stay.
BBQ Pit / Santa Maria Grill
Rent a BBQ pit / Santa Maria portable grill ($). These can be fueled by charcoal or wood, giving you multipurpose versatility to craft your menu items to your group's specialized tastes.
These can be booked in the booking engine when reserving your stay. If you've already booked, you can send an email requesting availability/pricing.
Event Yurt
Experience our fantastic new event space inside of a canvas walled yurt, which makes for an unique gathering space if you have a family renuion, baby shower, birthday, or other special event on the horizon. Accommodates up to about 35 people.
