Sun Outdoors Partners with Team Red, White & Blue to Promote Wellness Through Outdoor Discovery and Adventure

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - [June 15, 2022] Sun Outdoors, a leader in outdoor hospitality with more than 150 resorts and campgrounds across the United States and Canada, today announced a partnership withTeam Red, White & Blue(Team RWB), a nonprofit organization forging America's leading health and wellness community for military veterans, families and their supporters. This partnership will include Sun Outdoors' participation in several Team RWB events, including the upcoming 1776 Challenge, as well as ongoing support for various veteran and military-focused initiatives at Sun properties around the country.

The partnership will kick off with Sun Outdoors' participation in Team RWB's 1776 Challenge, which runs from June 17 through July 4. This 18-day epic physical challenge encourages team members to commit to performing an exercise for a prescribed number of reps each day. The goal of this challenge is to encourage participants to push their limits and find their true potential, while encouraging one another through a series of motivational videos shared across social platforms.

As part of Sun Outdoors' immersion with the 1776 Challenge, veterans now employed by the company will be featured in workout videos shared by RWB during the course of the 18 days of the Challenge.
